BRM Institute Executive Council member
Angela Walker is an executive director in Information Services at IU Health, the largest health care system in Indiana. She leads teams through Business Development projects serving as an Enterprise Project Management Office for acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and other partnership arrangements. She also leads the technology components of strategic design and construction capital projects accountable for multidisciplinary information technology teams. In addition, Angela is the Executive Director of Information Services Business Relationship Management.
She works with executives from local and corporate operational areas to engage with the appropriate stakeholders for successful execution of projects and initiatives.
In the twenty-six years leading up to her current role, she worked in all facets of healthcare revenue cycle divisions, leading to the foundation of her stellar career.
Angela has a keen ability to “connect the dots” across all stakeholders as well as lead complex projects via a synergistic, collaborative approach. In addition to a strong belief in mentoring those around her, she is passionate about how genuine relationships can be the best contributing factor to success.
In October 2018, Angela joined the BRM Institute Executive Council enhancing the team as an advocate in healthcare for the BRM community.
Born and raised in Indiana, Angela lives with her husband of twenty-five years, 9-yr old son, a cat named Dusty, and a gerbil named Emmit. She has a son in college and a daughter working in the banking industry. One of Angela’s future goals is publishing a white paper and increasing the BRM Institute member roster while advancing the awareness and value of business relationship management.
